ONLINE LESSONS – £22.50 PER HALF-HOUR AND £45 PER HOUR

Online lessons are proving to be highly successful as they allow students to focus and concentrate much better.

A GCSE student can expect each lesson to last up to 45 mins.

A-Level. Experience has shown that maths preparation, ideally, should begin as soon as the GCSE Exam period has ended.  Tuition at this level can be broken down into smaller, bite-size pieces throughout the week if necessary.

KS2: Primary maths education may vary enormously from school to school. I see my role as supporting the classroom teacher, not replacing him/her. My aim is to ensure your child has not missed out on essential topics.

KS3: This can often be a challenging time for young adults but they still need lots of reassurance and support. Research in the Journal of Education and Development  Mirza,Hussein (2018) Vol 5 indicates the necessity for meaningful learning experiences.

KS4: At this level, the main aim is to achieve acceptable levels of competency according to career choices.

Army Entrance exams:  How many minutes will it take a tank travelling at 25mph to go 8 miles?
A simple enough question but one which could well be asked of a person wanting to join the army.

Teaching qualifications: help for qualified teachers to update their maths skills.

£10 for a 15 minute “ask me a question” anytime slot

Bespoke service available,

Online Tuition

For teaching a topic like Mathematics, the online platform is perfectly acceptable for several reasons:

1. Lesson times do not have to be for a pre-arranged length of time.
2. Neither does the lesson have to start at an exact time.
3. Everyone’s time is used much more efficiently.
4. The students are generally more focussed.

Extra work can be emailed or even posted by snail-mail if the student does not have a working printer at home.

One-to-One Tuition

Once the government guidelines are lifted, one to one lesson on a personal basis will be available. Please ask for details once it becomes possible.
